Loving God. Asked about the most important of God’s commands, Jesus said, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” Mt 22:37-38 (NLT)”.
In other words, Jesus was saying that His followers must show their love through worship. Simple enough, but what exactly did He mean? At Forest Meadow, we teach that worship is a lifestyle through which we love God by practicing His presence without ceasing.
Loving God includes gathering together weekly as a community in small groups and large. With one another, we praise, pray, practice ordinances and hear a word from the Bible. It also includes spending time alone loving God in meditation, prayer and Bible reading. You’ll be glad to hear me say that we also love Jesus by obeying Him as His disciples.
Why not start making loving God a lifestyle for yourself and your friends and family today? Join us this Sunday at 11:00 AM?
